Practical steps

Use this as a working checklist. The advice is useful on its own; MyTitan is introduced only where the workflow naturally benefits from being connected.

Step 1

Find where work waits

Bottlenecks show up as jobs awaiting approval, missing parts, unclear ownership, unavailable staff or invoice-ready work that has not moved.

  • Group blocked work by reason
  • Identify the owner of each blockage
  • Review recurring causes
Step 2

Make queue health visible

A bottleneck should be visible before customers start chasing or the owner has to rebuild the picture manually.

  • Use clear statuses
  • Separate urgent from important
  • Keep old blocked items from disappearing
Step 3

Fix the repeated cause

Do not just chase each blocked item. Change the workflow step that keeps creating the same problem.

  • Adjust intake questions
  • Clarify approval steps
  • Review staffing or stock constraints
Example

What this looks like in practice

  • Jobs wait because approval evidence is missing.
  • Invoices wait because completion is not recorded.
  • A service repeatedly overruns its scheduled slot.
Checklist

Before you move on

  • Blocked work has a reason.
  • Old blockers are not hidden by new work.
  • Repeated causes are reviewed, not just individual cases.
